Somewhere between primary school and secondary school, many children stop believing they're creative.
They begin comparing themselves to others, worrying about getting things "right", or deciding they're simply
"Not good at art". You may hear "I can't draw!"
I don't believe creativity works like that.
That's why I created Arts Instruct...
Does this sound familiar?
Your child loves being creative but doesn't know what to make.
They enjoy art but have started saying they're "not very good."
You'd love to encourage their creativity but don't know where to start.
You want something more meaningful than YouTube or Pinterest.

Hi, I’m Jo, a qualified art teacher (PGCE) and the creator of Arts Instruct.
I created Arts Instruct after seeing too many children lose confidence in art simply because they believed they couldn't draw.
Arts Instruct was created for young people who love being creative but need a little guidance
to build their confidence.
Through structured projects inspired by real artists, I help 11–14-year-olds develop artistic skills, creative thinking and the confidence to enjoy art without the pressure of being "perfect".
Your child will always have something inspiring to create.
