What Am I Really Selling?

It’s a question I’ve been reflecting on lately, and the answer is bigger than you might expect. I teach art to children and adults, offer creative resources, and run exciting programs like Arts Instruct Creators. But it’s not just lessons or skills I’m selling—it's something much deeper.

I’m selling confidence. The belief that everyone can create something meaningful and unique, even if they’ve never picked up a paintbrush before.

I’m selling self-expression. In a world that often feels overwhelming, art offers a way to process emotions, share stories, and discover who you really are.

I’m selling connection. With others, with yourself, and with the world around you. Whether through a group project, learning about an inspiring artist, or simply taking the time to create, art brings us together.

And most importantly, I’m selling possibility. A chance to think beyond limits, try something new, and imagine a brighter, more colourful future.

Arts Instruct is also MY possibility! My chance to think beyond the limits of a classroom setting, for me to try something new - teaching online, designing and creating engaging projects and imagining a brighter future for myself where I'm excited to get to work!

Art changes lives. From failing my Art A Level to excelling in my foundation diploma, I know what it’s like to struggle with self-doubt and then find your spark. That journey is why I do what I do—it’s why I created Arts Instruct and why I keep showing up to help others embrace their creativity.

So, what am I really selling? I’m selling the tools to create, the courage to explore, and the joy of discovering what you’re capable of.
